2017 Book Challenge

It has been almost 4-5 years, but I am back! As an attempt to establish routine in my life, I have come back to reading. Instead of reading 100 books in one year, I am going to set my limits low and see how it goes.

Goals:

  • 5+ Stephen King books
  • 2 self help or Judaism books
  • Malazan book of the Fallen series (finish first book and read the second)
  • Read 5 books recommended by friends on BookTube (
  • read a YA series that I have missed over the last couple years!
  • 12 books in one year (a far cry from the old 100+ books I used to read)

Results:

  • 5+ Stephen King books
  • 2 self help or Judaism books
  • Malazan book of the Fallen series (finish first book and read the second)
  • Read 5 books recommended by friends on BookTube

Confess by Colleen Hoover

  1. Kat

Canadian author – Susanna Kearsley – great writer

  2. OH Agatha Christie is amazing! You should read her book “And Then There Were None” It’s amazing!

  3. Great idea! Not sure I could manage 100; but I think I might do a smaller version of the challenge. I’d be interested in how you get on with Little Women, I was really looking forward to it; but found it hard going. I read The Housekeeper and The Professor and really enjoyed it. It’s a bit different.

  4. Also have you read Shadow in the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. One of my favourite books.

  5. I’ve joined a dystopia challenge and two different mystery challenges. I need to read more Nicholas Sparks books, I have a few of his. Also, I’d like to read more of Jodi Picoult’s books too this year.

p.s. I started House of Leaves but didn’t get far.. It totally creeps me out. Maybe I can finish it one day..lol 🙂
    Good luck with your challenges!
